About Us

Oro Plata Pty Ltd is a privately held company based in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. 

The Australian directors have 30 years of experience in mineral exploration in Australia, Asia, South America and Europe and a decade of direct experience exploring and developing critical minerals projects, having been instrumental in the discovery one of the world's largest heavy rare earth projects and the restart of a graphite mine, both in Europe.  They are heavily involved in the European push towards a sustainable and ethical supply of critical metals for the Western World and look forward to applying those experiences back at home in Australia.  

The directors consider working with local stakeholders as mission critical for the success of a project.
